General Information for all Qualifying Providers
This section will contain information that applies to both eligible schools and eligible service providers.
I have been approved as a Qualifying Provider. How do I complete my registration?
Once you have submitted a UFA Qualifying Provider application (found here) and are approved to participate in the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program as a Qualifying Provider, you will receive an email from ClassWallet inviting you to register. This email will come from automation@app.smartsheet.com.
Click the link in the email to begin registration. Once on the ClassWallet platform, select the button to "create an account."
Without registering, you will not appear in ClassWallet.
As a reminder, you will not see scholarship funds settle into your account without completely registering with ClassWallet or without linking a bank account to your profile.
How do I become a qualifying provider?
The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program welcomes eligible schools and service providers to apply to become Qualifying Providers. During the application process, information and documentation will be collected from an applicant. The UFA customer support team may request additional information at any time. Qualifying Providers do not need to be located in Utah but can provide services or materials virtually from anywhere.
We invite you to review Chapter 2 of the UFA Provider Handbook regarding qualifying providers.
Can a DirectPay provider pass along the 2.5% processing fee to families?
Yes. A qualifying provider accepting payments through DirectPay in ClassWallet may pass along any processing fees to all scholarship students. Processing fees must be applied uniformly to all scholarship students.
This processing fee should be handled in the same way that credit card processing fees are handled by the qualifying provider.
Provider FAQs
How can I access the recording of the Qualifying Provider ClassWallet Webinar
that took place on July 23, 2024?
The recording is available on the Resources Page of the UFA website.
Here is the link to the presentation slide deck.
How can I better promote myself as a UFA Qualifying Provider?
To help you promote yourself as a UFA Qualifying Provider to families, we have created a virtual decal to use on your website. Simply download the zip file containing the virtual decals and the decal guidelines. Qualifying Providers should follow the step-by-step instructions in the decal guideline document to upload the decal to their web-based platform or homepage.
How long will it take for a payment to settle in a school’s account?
If the school is not a Qualifying Provider:
The scholarship parent pays the school directly for tuition on whatever cadence the school is invoicing (i.e. monthly, quarterly, annually) and requests reimbursement for the payment.
If the school is a Qualifying Provider and registered on ClassWallet:
The scholarship parent must upload the invoice provided by the school into ClassWallet. Once the invoice is uploaded, the Customer Support Team will process the expense within 7-10 business days. Once approved, the payment will settle into the school’s bank account within 2-10 business days.
May a school request payment in full?
Yes, the school may ask for payment in full. They may also invoice quarterly, monthly, or by semester. This is up to the school to decide. The invoice provided to the scholarship parent must clearly indicate whether the payment is for full annual tuition, monthly tuition, etc.
Does each scholarship student need their own invoice?
No. Multiple scholarship students within the same household may be on one invoice. Each student must have clearly itemized line items explaining which services were provided to each student. This invoice would need to be uploaded into the ClassWallet account for each scholarship student named on the invoice.
What is the achievement selection process and when does that need to be
completed by?
To remain eligible for the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program, the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program law requires that a scholarship student submit either proof of the scholarship student’s completion of an assessment OR a portfolio, describing the scholarship student’s educational opportunities and achievements under the program for the given year. The scholarship parent may change their selection at any time.
Documentation of either the portfolio or proof of the administration of an assessment must be submitted for each scholarship student by June 30, 2025. View the Achievement Selection Presentation for more information.

Can I invoice for services weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually?
Yes. You may invoice for services at any frequency. We will accept invoices that indicate weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual payments.
Please make sure the invoice you provide to the scholarship parent clearly indicates what services are being paid for. For example, "September tuition for [student name]," OR "Math tutoring - pre-calculus September 1-November 30 for [student name]."
Please understand these are merely examples that illustrate the type of invoices that would be accepted and the language that may be included to indicate the period of time the payment is for.
Why is my school or business not published on the UFA approved provider list?
After you receive your approval email you have few more steps to take. The approval email provides a link and steps for you to set up your account, including:
-
Login to your ClassWallet account and set up your profile:
- Add a paragraph describing the services you offer. Avoid using cut and paste, as this will hinder the look of the layout on the published page.
- Provide contact information for families to contact your school or business.
-
Link your bank account to ClassWallet.
- Identify the micro deposits and report back to ClassWallet.
If the process is properly followed you will be published as a qualifying provider on our website for awarded scholarship families to seek your services with DirectPay options OR as a vendor, you will be placed in the marketplace. If after taking these steps you do not see your school or business published, please contact our team support and we will help you.
