No. A student using the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program may not be enrolled in a public district school or public charter school. However, the student may be enrolled in the public school at the time of application. If awarded, the student must be disenrolled prior to the start of the school year in which they plan to use the scholarship funds.
Public schools a may apply to become a UFA provider by describing the services, courses, and programs they plan to offer scholarship students along with the associated fees. Once the public school is onboarded with the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program, families may use their scholarship funds to pay for services provided by the school.
If a student is awarded the UFA scholarship, they must be disenrolled from full time status at a public school no later than the start of the school year in which they wish to use the scholarship. ACE Scholarships recommends completing the process of disenrollment shortly after the current school year.
